Some women need certain screening tests earlier, or more often, than others. Unfortunately in India, we do not yet have the habit of going for regular check-ups and those who do only get scoffed at. But the advantages of having regular check-ups far out weighs the sacrifice in terms of time and effort, especially because the prognosis of diseases including cancer is dependent on early detection.
